Receiving

BBusinesses that sell and ship products have a lot of tasks to juggle. In addition to stocking product, picking and packing, not to mention shipping – all the tasks of order fulfillment, they have to stay one step ahead of the competition and market themselves aggressively. Staying ahead in the E-commerce market can be downright tricky and you need to put a concentrated effort into formulating a marketing plan and then ensuring that you are following through on those bold claims you are making to the public.

For those businesses doing all of the above – great, but it doesn’t end once you ship your orders. You must then contend with customer refusals, credit returns, and payments.

If a company deals in order fulfillment, they need a place to store their inventory. And there’s not just the issue of space to consider. Once you have the space, you then need computers, equipment and staff to operate the facility. That means pouring a lot of money into new acquisitions, hiring costs, salaries, training, not to mention making sure you are compliant with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.

We are not saying you can’t handle all this – the question is why would you want to, especially when you have the option of teaming with experts who already have all of these things in place. Call Drawox right now and find out how we can save you time, money and stress.

RECEIVING

All incoming deliveries are inspected by our receiving staff at the time they arrive. If any damages are found or any items are missing, then the customer and senior staff are immediately notified. Stored products are also inspected on a regular basis to ensure stock levels are adequate and no product is lost due to spoilage. We look out for your assets as if they were our own.

TRACKING

Our label and RF scanner system is state-of-the-art. Labels are affixed to the product as it arrives. This label, when scanned, is able to provide staff with all important information regarding that product including alerting them for the need for special handling or storage. The labels integrate with our software system which can show the location and inventory level of all products at any given time.

NOTIFICATIONS

We recommend all customers utilize our EDI system. It is the best way to communicate with our staff and the simplest way to change deliveries. You can change delivery dates to better meet with your business needs. All changes are immediately communicated to us and your carrier. It is the most efficient system available today in our industry.

DROP SHIPPING

Drop shipping is available for all customers and for any product that does not require special storage needs. Customers love the option because it means that they can take advantage of huge discounts for buying in bulk from the vendors without being concerned about available storage space. Trailers are simply dropped by the carrier and are unloaded during down times or when space becomes available. Customers can realize a bigger profit margin or pass the savings on to their own customers in an effort to increase sales volume.

AUTOMATED STORAGE SELECTION

Our label system gives us the benefit of identifying product as it is received and notifying staff in the event any special storage needs are required for the product. They immediately know how and where it needs to go. Our facilities are capable of handling any number of special storage requirements such as climate-control and hazardous materials. Facilities are inspected and approved by government agencies for handling of such items and staff in trained continuously on handling and processing protocols including OSHA training.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

As we do with all our departments, we utilize KPIs to measure our performance. As with those other departments, our customers can request to have their own indicators added to our already existing ones and we will measure those and provide the customer with a comprehensive report on the results.

Our Customer Service representatives receive intensive training on creative problem solving, critical thinking, multi-tasking and time management in addition to the latest business philosophies on customer service. From the time your product arrives at our facility, our staff puts the customer interests first. Every action taken is measured against how it will affect our customers and their ability to do business. Your success is our success.
