Fulfillment by Amazon

Fulfillment by Amazon

Any business owner who is struggling with the decision to outsource their order fulfillment operations and/or participate with FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) may find the information below valuable.

There are some really great things about FBA and some not so great ones. Drawox is an approved FBA facility so we are in a position to give you some honest, objective information about FBA to help you make the decision to participate with them.

Amazon gives you unprecedented access to millions of customers around the world. More than you could ever possibly reach under your own power. Add to that the facts that they will store, pick and pack your items for order fulfillment as well as process your returns – they have a lot of great pluses in their column.

Some more pluses for Amazon to consider are that they have the staff, equipment, facilities, and other resources in place to get started on your orders right away. Do you have a facility or the right equipment? How about adequate staff to handle the additional tasks required to fill online orders? Chances are you are missing at least one of these key components, if not several.

Sounds like it’s a no brainer to go with Amazon, right?

Not so fast. In order to participate with FBA you must agree to their terms and strict regulations before being considered for approval. Keeping all the rules straight is a challenge in and of itself. Not being compliant with FBA rules can get your account suspended or even canceled.

Also, every product you offer through Amazon must be registered with them. This means a ton of information is required for each product you list there. Manufacturer name, make, model, serial numbers, size, weight, UPC and ISBN numbers are some of the things that need to be provided. If you have a lot of products you intend to offer through FBA, this task can quickly become overwhelming.

But don’t count out FBA just yet. You can still participate without having to deal with all of the stress and extra work. How? Simple – choose Drawox to handle your FBA operations. Just as with Amazon, we have all the staff, facilities, and resources in place already. We can quickly begin filling your orders and keep you compliant with Amazon regulations while we do it. We will even set up your products for you which will save you countless hours.

QUALITY CONTROL

Drawox has been in the order fulfillment business long before it became all the rage. We have worked hard to develop processes that work quite efficiently and keep not only our customers, but also our customers’ customers happy. Let our experience work for you. It can be hard to hand off part of your operations to an outsider, but before long, you’ll be wondering why you were ever concerned. Almost from the beginning, you will begin to see the benefits of handing off your order fulfillment to us. Concentrate on other tasks that we are not able to do for you. Let us do what we do best, while you concentrate on growing your company.

Our TMS system allows us to monitor incoming and outgoing shipments so that before your delivery even arrives, we are making preparations to receive and store it. Our systems will be set up with your product specs including special handling and storage requirements that may be needed.

Once the product arrives it is thoroughly inspected, labeled, stored away and entered into the inventory system. If it requires special storing, like climate control, we have it covered. Our facilities can handle all types of specialty storage including hazardous materials. We will process many products that may be prohibited by Amazon.

Amazon does conduct inspections as well but they are not on the same level as the ones we conduct. Their inspections are rudimentary. They have a lot of stuff coming in and honestly, you’re just another vendor to them out of the hundreds of thousands they have already. In Drawox, we treat every customer the same regardless of the volume of business they do with us.

Our staff maintains an incredibly high accuracy rating on order fulfillment. This commitment to doing it right the first time means that your business sees less returns, less complaints and revenue loss stemming from these issues is drastically reduced.

ITEM REGISTRATION

Remember, if you go with us for your FBA needs, you won’t be bogged down with the monotonous task of gathering and entering all the miscellaneous data for each product you offer through FBA. We will do that for you. For us, it’s just another task. We are familiar with the process and can do this much faster than you and your staff would be able to.

ITEM PREPARATION AND PACKAGING

If your item is delivered from your vendor in bulk and needs to be broken down into smaller units for retail sales, we can do that as well. Amazon has packaging requirements that sellers must meet. We are familiar with them and capable of repacking your items to meet those requirements.

SHIPPING CARRIER

We offer a variety of carriers and shipping methods for our customers’ convenience at the lowest prices around. We have something to fit every budget and we can even negotiate freight pricing for you if your business deals in large quantities and big shipments.

INELIGIBLE PRODUCTS

We mentioned that there may be some products that Amazon will not process for you through FBA. We do not have those same restrictions. As long as a carrier will ship an item, we will process it for you. It’s just another reason why choosing Drawox over FBA alone makes better sense for you.

Our customers get the best of all worlds. Staff experienced with FBA, all the latest equipment and technology and state-of-the-art facilities are all yours when you partner with Drawox.

Customer service is evident in every department within our company. Everything we do is aimed at satisfying the customer and getting them what they need. Our Customer Service representatives receive intensive training on creative problem solving, critical thinking, multi-tasking and time management in addition to the latest business philosophies on customer service. From the time your product arrives at our facility, our staff puts the customer interests first. Every action taken is measured against how it will affect our customers and their ability to do business. Your success is our success.
